so no…. Bush is trying to make himself feel good by being ant-Trump. He is more than just a war criminal and frankly so far, again, he was much worse. We cannot let historical amnesia take over. He gave Trump all the tools to be an authoritarian monster, tools that Obama, mind you, never disbanded.

Even if it does that’s a smokescreen to distract us from how evil it is. The US military sometimes does “good” by giving aide to famished countries yet often it’s the one creating the famines lol We can have a non militarized agency that deals with human trafficking without ripping children from their families and without being hostile to brown immigrants who are often fleeing extreme violence and penury some caused by the US. Also for those who are concerned about border security…… we had border security before ICE was invented. ICE is not needed at all. Plus the border security BS is overrated since immigrants commit less crimes than non immigrants and if we legalize drugs and regulated them and taxed them gang violence and Mafia like activity that occurs on the border will cease to exist. We are the cause of a lot of this. We create a problem and then make it worse by our militarized non-solutions.  I was once on a US military ship, having breakfast in the
 wardroom (officers lounge) when the Operations Officer (OPS)
 walks in. This guy was the definition of NOT a morning person;
 he's still half asleep, bleary eyed... basically a zombie with a
 bagel. He sits down across from me to eat his bagel and is just
 barely conscious. My back is to the outboard side of the ship,
 and the morning sun is blazing in one of the portholes putting a
 big bright-ass circle of light right on his barely conscious face.
 He's squinting and chewing and basically just remembering how
 to be alive for today. It's painful to watch.
 But then zombie-OPS stops chewing, slowly picks up the
 phone, and dials the bridge. In his well-known
 I'm-still-totally-asleep voice, he says "heeeey. It's OPS. Could
 you... shift our barpat. yeah, one six five. Thanks." And puts
 the phone down. And then he just sits there. Squinting. Waiting.
 And then, ever so slowly, I realize that that big blazing spot of
 sun has begun to slide off the zombie's face and onto the wall
 behind him. After a moment it clears his face and he blinks
 slowly a few times and the brilliant beauty of what I've just
 witnessed begins to overwhelm me. By ordering the bridge to
 adjust the ship's back-and-forth patrol by about 15 degrees
 he's changed our course just enough to reposition the sun off of
 his face. He's literally just redirected thousands of tons of steel
 and hundreds of people so that he could get the sun out of his
 eyes while he eats his bagel. I am in awe.
 He slowly picks up his bagel and for a moment I'm terrified at
 the thought that his own genius may escape him, that he may
 never appreciate the epic briliance of his laziness (since he's
 not going to wake up for another hour). But between his next
 bites he pauses, looks at me, and gives me the faintest, sly grin,
 before returning to gnaw slowly on his zombie bagel.

How Symbolic Today is the 65th Anniversary of the signing of the armistice that ended the Korean War. The war began when North Korea invaded South Korea on June 25, 1950. Twenty-one countries of the United Nations eventually contributed to defend against communist aggression, however, the United States provided approximately 90 percent of the forces. Sometimes referred to as the “Forgotten War,” the Korean War would last for more than three years with nearly 1.8 million U.S. military personnel serving “in country.” The war claimed the lives of 36,000 American troops; a 103,000 more wounded; nearly 7,250 U.S. troops taken prisoner and approximately 7,700 American were declared missing in action. On this same day today UN Command says remains of 55 American service members from the Korean War were returned by North Korea. A U.S. cargo aircraft flew to North Korea to receive the remains and returned promptly to Osan Air Base in South Korea. This victory was made possible by the international policies that have been put in place by our President @realdonaldtrump never forget it. We honor all those who served in Korea as well as those who supported them at home and abroad to secure peace for the Korean peninsula. Your service is not forgotten. Photos: 1.) The US military sometimes does “good” by giving aide to famished countries yet often it’s the one creating the famines lol We can have a non militarized agency that deals with human trafficking without ripping children from their families and without being hostile to brown immigrants who are often fleeing extreme violence and penury some caused by the US. Also for those who are concerned about border security we had border security before ICE was invented. ICE is not needed at all. Plus the border security BS is overrated since immigrants commit less crimes than non immigrants and if we legalize drugs and regulated them and taxed them gang violence and Mafia like activity that occurs on the border will cease to exist. We are the cause of a lot of this. We create a problem and then make it worse by our militarized non-solutions. Lastly, if my sources are correct ICE has lost many children who have possibly been lost to human traffickers so . some job they’re doing.

    us military: What is the laziest thing you've
 ever done?
 I was once on a US military ship, having breakfast in the
 wardroom (officers lounge) when the Operations Officer (OPS)
 walks in. This guy was the definition of NOT a morning person;
 he's still half asleep, bleary eyed... basically a zombie with a
 bagel. He sits down across from me to eat his bagel and is just
 barely conscious. My back is to the outboard side of the ship
 and the morning sun is blazing in one of the portholes puttinga
 big bright-ass circle of light right on his barely conscious face.
 He's squinting and chewing and basically just remembering how
 to be alive for today. It's painful to watch.
 But then zombie-OPS stops chewing, slowly picks up the
 phone, and dials the bridge. In his well-known
 I'm-still-totally-asleep voice, he says "heeeey. It's OPS. Could
 you... shift our barpat... yeah, one six five. Thanks." And puts
 the phone down. And then he just sits there. Squinting. Waiting.
 And then, ever so slowly, I realize that that big blazing spot of
 sun has begun to slide off the zombie's face and onto the wall
 behind him. After a moment it clears his face and he blinks
 slowly a few times and the brilliant beauty of what I've just
 witnessed begins to overwhelm me. By ordering the bridge to
 adjust the ship's back-and-forth patrol by about 15 degrees,
 he's changed our course just enough to reposition the sun off of
 his face. He's literally just redirected thousands of tons of steel
 and hundreds of people so that he could get the sun out of his
 eyes while he eats his bagel. I am in awe.
 He slowly picks up his bagel and for a moment I'm terrified at
 the thought that his own genius may escape him, that he may
 never appreciate the epic brilliance of his laziness (since he's
 not going to wake up for another hour). But between his next
 bites he pauses, looks at me, and gives me the faintest, sly grin,
 before returning to gnaw slowly on his zombie bagel.
