They both find it important to strip the citizenry of firearms as much as possible so even when, through
neglect and corruption, they cause enormous suffering the people find it almost imposs ible to depose
their rulers
The proponents of both have an absolute, unwaivering and infant-like faith in the moral integrity and
everlasting good intentions of a group of power hungry bureaucrats far removed from their own
suffering. They also can't imagine how giving neigh infinite economic and coercive power to their dear
leaders could ever corrupt a democratic system.
