Although the ceremony has yet to be announced, the team sent a letter to Lakers season ticket holders, suggesting them to “hold on to their tickets for the game on Dec. 18” for a “special event.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But, with the retirement of Bryant’s jersey, the organization had to decide which number would be hung, as the superstar wore 8 and 24 throughout his career with the L.A. team.
