INTAKE DATE – 7/3/2019
OAKWOOD wants you to know he is a master of 'sit'; 'down', & 'give paw' <3
He’s the “sweetest gentleman” say his friends, the volunteers, and he constantly shows off his commands so they will call him a good boy. And a good boy he is, so wiggly and sweet, always happy to make new friends. He’s also very patient, a good scout who waits his turn for walks, and bides his time in quiet contemplation till he sees a volunteer come toward his kennel with the leash in hand. Then its up off his bad, his tail wagging furiously, doing a little dance because he is so happy to finally be picked. But Oakwood can also be shy and timid at times in the streets of NYC, and we have to wonder if he was indoors a lot or from the suburbs, because loud or sudden noises will frighten our little man, and he looks to the volunteers for comfort. There is so much to love about this block headed baby with his happy heart, hopeful eyes, and loving nature. He may be lost in the shelter system now, but our hope is that he will be lost in the arms of a new and loving family very soon. Oakwood is so special, please share him widely or foster or adopt him now. You can MESSAGE our page or email us at MustLoveDogsNYC@gmail.com for assistance.
